Other Information
Accident 4 November 1902. Died in Government Hospital, Kalgoorlie in January 1903.

James death registration reveals he spent 6 years in New Zealand (to approx. 1879), 7 years in South Australia (to 1886), 12 years in New South Wales, probably areas surrounding Broken Hill (to 1898), and then 4 years in Western Australia (Boulder City) to the time of his death in early 1903. This probably mirrors the movements of the family.

Rev F J Miles conducted the service. The funeral procession left from the residence of James' brother's (Thomas Prisk Deeble) residence (76 Chaffers St) at 4 pm. Undertakers were I. W. Goss & Co of Piesse St. James' death was reported in the newspaper in Thames, New Zealand.
