The Coroner returned the following verdict:— That Edward John Hanley came by his death at the treatment plant of the Central Norseman Gold Mine, at Norseman, on the 3rd day of November, 1942, as a result of coming in contact with the machinery of the treatment plant, there being insufficient evidence to establish the cause.
